Ms. Florence Okumu joined the family of Ligunya Sande & Associates in the early months of the year 2018 as a junior associate after successfully completing her Bar exams from the Kenya School of Law in Nairobi. Through the years, she’s grown through the ranks and now deputizes Mrs. Sande Ligunya in the Conveyancing department at the law firm.

Additionally, Miss Florence Okumu is a sworn Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She  holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Catholic University of East Africa and a post-graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law in Nairobi.

Miss Okumu is a certified professional mediator and offers mediation services at the Children’s court in Nairobi and at the Family Division of the High Court in Milimani, Nairobi.

She is currently pursuing a Certified Public Secretary (CPS) course in line with her passion as a Conveyancing Advocate. Ms. Florence Okumu has distinct knowledge in Conveyancing and securitization of documents and has been a strong and reliable pillar of the firm since joining the family.

She is also an active member of the Law Society of Kenya.
